Mandi – Whatever has happened in Janjehli in Tehsil Thunag of district Mandi was due the false affidavit filed by the previous Congress Government in the court and the present government has no such hand in this, said Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur today.
The present State Government has no role to play in the cancellation of SDM office at Janjehli along-with Sub Tehsil Chatri as this was the decision of the Hon’ble High Court in wake of false affidavit filed by Congress, said he. The present situation was the result of the mismanagement of previous Congress regime, said he.
The Congress Government before issuing a notification submitted an affidavit in High Court containing distorted facts, on behalf of which the court issued the orders of cancellation of SDM office at Janjehli and Sub- tehsil Chatri, said Chief Minister adding further that the government would approach the court and would place before it its version as well. The Chief Minister also appealed to the people of the area to exercise patience and avoid agitations as the matter was pertaining to judiciary, and we should not dishonour the decision of the court. “The government has full faith in the judiciary and I am sure that the matter would certainly come to its logical conclusion”, he added. We are looking into every aspect very closely and will soon come out with a solution.
The Chief Minister also cautioned the people to be aware of those who were trying to politicize the issue with a motive to create unrest.
We will certainly exercise all possibilities to get Justice done and bring the people out of this situation, he said.
